No. While we do test your glucose markers, single and mixed macronutrient challenges are designed to test different things. Single macronutrient challenges, such as a glucose test, are not representative of a real meal and therefore do not elicit all processes necessary to evaluate phenotypic flexibility. We use a mixed macronutrient challenge test, nutritionally closer to a real meal, to temporarily disturb homeostasis and test your phenotypic flexibility, so we can create dietary recommendations personalized for you.
